MICROSOFT VS SAP VS ORACLE
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) has now become an essential part of organizational management. Business organizations are implementing an integrated ERP solution that is bringing together all the business procedures including finance, inventory, sales, marketing, customer service, human resource and supply chain management under one roof.
There are three major companies; Microsoft, Oracle and SAP providing ERP solutions globally. All three of them are offering SaaS (Software as a Service) and have different advantages. Each business organization has its own requirements and budget constraints and they have to choose their ERP solution provider according to their compatibility. Small to medium sized companies need an ERP solution which is agile and cost-effective.
Here is an overview of the main three ERP service providers; SAP, Microsoft and Oracle.
SAP
SAP is one of the biggest ERP service provider to streamline the business processes across the business and helps in creating customer relations. The most significantly used SAP ERP modules for a business include: Human resource management, quality and sale management, payroll management, warehouse and inventory management, healthcare management, financial accounting as well as planning and optimization. SAP provides easy integration with other tools and functionalities. All these business modules are combined in an integrated solution and helps to maintain resources and cost of the business. SAP is more popular for large enterprises but it can also be deployed in small organizations. SAP reduces the cost and data redundancy of the business. SAP also provides amazing BI (Business Intelligence) features for making intellectual business decisions like data storage, live dashboards and reports.
ORACLE
Oracle ERP solution provides project management, Human Resource management, customer relationship management, supply chain management, payroll and financial accounting modules. It offers integration of other tools and services for better customer experience. It can be deployed both on cloud and on-premises. It is a centralized business solution which allows the automation of several business processes in a single solution. However Oracle is a bit expensive as compared to other service providers and is difficult to install and customize.
MICROSOFT
Microsoft ERP solutions are suitable for both large enterprises and SMBs because they can easily be customized and integrated with other Microsoft products. TMRC offers one of the main product i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365 which provides various modules including Human Resources, Supply chain management, sales and marketing, field services, customer service, project service automation, commerce, artificial intelligence, project operations and mixed reality. Microsoft ERP solutions can easily be installed and provides customer support.
